Internship: Retail Management, District Controlling, Support Office - H&M

WELCOME TO H&M UNIVERSITY

Of course this isn’t a real university, but we do accept students, and help you grow by way of our internship program! At H&M, learning never stops. That’s because we encourage our employees to constantly improve and develop. So if you want to learn in a fast-paced international fashion company with endless possibilities, we invite you to launch your career at H&M.

We have an open-minded work culture, with flexible hours and a lot of individual responsibility. Our forward-thinking workplace needs dynamic, creative, positive go-getters for every part of the business.

INTERNING AT H&M IS POSSIBLE

Our need for talented and motivated individuals is bigger than ever. We look for results-driven candidates willing to take initiative. If this sounds like you, apply for one of our three 10-week internships.
Available internship positions will be listed here. We accept applications for the summer program during the fall and spring. Positions will remain posted until the internship has been filled.
Retail Management
Our stores management team is the heartbeat of the H&M organization. This undergraduate internship teaches the key aspects of managing and developing a team, analyzing and interpreting reports and getting creative with visual merchandising and displays. Retail management interns also execute the highest level of customer service and coaching through communication with members of the store and district team.
District Controlling
Our district controller MBA internship offers you a thrilling opportunity to embrace your entrepreneurial spirit and increase your business knowledge. Because this role involves finding ways to maximize sales and minimize variable costs, the ideal candidate should be a strong analytical thinker. The internship includes two weeks of in-store experience in one of our high-volume stores across the country.
Support Office
This is what other companies refer to as their “corporate office,” except we aren’t corporate. Here, we support our stores through marketing, finance, public relations, interior design, architecture and so many more functions. We reserve these internships for our current employees who are looking to develop with the company as a majority of our Support Office are internal associates from our stores.
