Responsibilities: 
Summer interns will have an opportunity to actively participate in meaningful projects and assignments within a Bealls/Burkes Outlet store location. Interns will participate in a weekly touch base and performance feedback session with their respective manager and/or mentor. They will also attend bi-weekly leadership and retail training meetings. A formal performance appraisal will be conducted at the conclusion of the program. 
This is a 10 week program in most cases. 

Examples of duties will include: 

Product flow 
Business analysis 
Visual merchandising 
Use store operational systems 
Interact with customers and store teams 
Attend and participate in business meetings 
Interact with various levels of executives 
Limited travel with District Manager 
Qualifications: 
Currently enrolled as a senior in an accredited undergraduate degree program 
Strong analytical and quantitative skills 
Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint 
Ability to work independently on projects 
Ability to handle time sensitive and confidential information 

Work Schedule: Flexible – To include, days, nights and weekends 
Hours per Week: 40
