- Gain valuable general management skills while learning about a career in Merchandising while working on projects of significant value and importance to the business
- Work cross-functionally with Merchandise Planning, Marketing/Advertising, Sourcing, Finance, Distribution, and Stores as well as many other experts throughout the organization to drive your project to completion.
- Participate in the day-to-day activities of a Buyer, developing business strategies, marketing plans and merchandise assortments to drive profitable sales and see how our Merchandising teams make key financial decisions for their businesses that provide our guests with great value, quality and style.
- Gain broad exposure to many aspects of Merchandising such as: product development, packaging innovation, multicultural marketing, private label development, and import and sourcing initiatives.
- 10 week, project based internship program where you will drive results by collaborating cross functionally, and utilizing forward-thinking solutions and innovative approaches
- Participate in specialized leadership development training exclusive to those in the MBA internship and work closely with a cohort group of peers.
Requirements
- MBA in progress with 5 to 7 years of previous work experience
- Interested in a career in general management or brand management
- Entrepreneurial spirit with strong analytical, decision-making, and organization skills
- Creative problem-solving and risk-taking skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking and attention to detail
- Superior leadership skills with enthusiasm, initiative and a passion for results
