Amazon is looking for a Stylist Intern for its fast paced commercial photo studio. Successful candidates will be self-starters, strong communicators, very detail-oriented, and highly creative. The Stylist Intern will be assisting and styling in a range of different categories for e-commerce photography. The Stylist Intern will be contributing to continual style improvements and styling/prep efficiencies. The successful candidate will be productivity focused, with good merchandise coordination and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities
· Assist on set with prepping, prioritizing imaging order, and styling products
· Troubleshoot and prioritize direction from creative on set
· Monitor incoming product in order to prepare for daily productivity
· Use the vision of the brand, buyer requests, and other resources as guides to make specific styling choices
· Act as point person for freelance stylists assistants
· May switch between prep and styling role during peak times
· Organize and maintain the workspace and request supplies
·Support safety initiatives regarding studio workflow and processes

Relocation and housing is not available for this internship

· Currently pursuing a degree in fashion, merchandising, visual arts
· Portfolio with some practical styling experience
·Must be able to work 40 hours/week throughout course of the internship
· Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
· Proven ability to work well as part of a team
· Able to lift and move up to 49 lbs
· Able to push and pull product up to 49 lbs during shift
· Proficient working knowledge of Mac and PC computing platforms, including Microsoft Office
· Basic English proficiency

· Knowledge of commercial studio workflow
· Accustomed to the intensity of the studio environment
· An obsession for delighting customers
· A superb eye for style, visual composition and attention to detail
· Familiarity with styling and visual presentation techniques
· Knowledge to trends and emerging brands
· Self-driven and able to easily communicate creative ideas and collaborate in a team environment
· Comfortable in a culture of continuous change
· Proficiency with Capture One Pro
· Proficiency using Excel/Outlook/Sharepoint
· Productivity-focused and proven to be a quick problem solver

Position Summary
Zazzle is looking for a rock star Photo Studio Intern for this summer. The individual will work in close collaboration with Photographer and Stylist on a variety of projects. You’ll be part of a small Creative team where you’ll get to wear multiple hats in a fun, hip start-up environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Track and pull products, props, and studio equipment.
  • Assist in photo shoots and tear down of sets.
  • Process and light retouch product and editorial shoots.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our in-house photo studio.
  • Learn and grow skills through hands-on experience.
Minimum Requirements
  • Majoring in Photography, Design, Styling/Visual Merchandising, or a related field.
  • Available to work during normal business hours during the summer.
  • Experience with Capture One, Photoshop, and Microsoft software.
  • The ideal candidate is detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage time and deadlines.
  • Related work experience in photography, video, design, advertising, or marketing is a plus.
  • Portfolio with some practical studio experience.
Educational Requirements
  • Majoring in Photography, Design, Styling/Visual Merchandising, or a related field.

Yandy.com, an innovative ecommerce company specializing in women’s fashion located in Phoenix, Arizona, is looking for a full time in-house Image Editor to join one of the fastest growing companies in Arizona! As the Image Editor, this individual will work internally at Yandy’s headquarters North Phoenix with the current high energy, talented team.
As the Image Editor, this individual will be responsible for editing the photos from the many Yandy.com photo shoots. This includes cropping, retouching and photoshopping product raw images and producing high quality photos to help promote the Yandy brand both on the site, and through social media and advertising.
Responsibilities for this role include:
  • Cropping images to meet the size constraints of the website.
  • Retouching/editing raw images from in-house photoshoots.
  • Color matching images to product samples.
  • Preparing images for ad campaigns/marketing for the graphic design team.
  • Extracting images from backgrounds.
  • Preparing image for social media campaigns.
Necessary skills/qualifications:
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows or Mac OS.
  • Ability to both take direction, and work independently on projects.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Time management and the ability to work quickly under pressure.
Preferred, but not necessary skills/qualifications:
  • HTML knowledge.
  • Graphic design.
